Advanced Informatics

Enterprise software for complex operational businesses. UK and Ireland, available worldwide.

Where the work actually happens

Operational businesses run on people in the field, and too often those people run on paper forms, phone calls and re-keying at the end of a shift. Every one of those handoffs loses data and time.

We build mobile apps as an extension of your operational platform: the same data, live, in the hands of the people doing the work. Capture once, at the point of work, and it flows everywhere it's needed.

The same holds when the app faces outward. A customer booking, paying or checking an order is using the same platform through another door - and it has to hold up at consumer scale.

Mobile is rarely a standalone project; it usually arrives alongside a platform build or an integration.

Apps for your teams and your customers

Field and workforce apps

Job lists, inspections, works instructions, proof of work, signatures and photos: the daily tools of drivers, engineers and site teams, designed for gloves, glare and one-handed use. Where the environment is harsh, we deploy to rugged industrial devices.

Offline-first data capture

Work continues without signal: data is captured and queued locally, then synced automatically when coverage returns, so nothing is lost and nobody re-keys at the end of a shift.

Connected to your systems

Apps built on the same API-first architecture as everything else we build, so what's captured in the field lands in your operational systems in real time.

Customer-facing apps

The systems that run your operation can face your customers too - bookings, orders, payments and account self-service through the same platform. We've built enterprise web and mobile frameworks behind large consumer applications, and we plan the architecture to scale as you grow.

Native or cross-platform

Most apps ship from one cross-platform codebase - one build, one set of tests, both app stores. When a requirement genuinely needs native development for one operating system, we say so up front and build it natively.

The portal behind the app

Our apps come with the web-based portal to run them: account management, activity dashboards and reporting. We also connect apps to the third-party services they depend on, such as payment gateways and mapping.

An extension of your platform, not an island

The hard part of mobile isn't the app - it's the two-way flow of live data behind it. That's the work we do daily: our most recent integration moves truck-captured photos and detection data into an operator's systems in real time.

Common questions

iOS, Android or both?

Both, usually from one cross-platform codebase: one build, one set of tests, both app stores. Where a requirement genuinely needs native work, we say so up front.

Do your apps work offline?

They're designed for patchy connectivity from the start: capture data offline, queue it, and sync automatically when coverage returns. Field work doesn't stop at the edge of signal, so the app can't either.

Can an app talk to our existing systems?

That's the point of building one. We connect apps to the ERP, CRM and operational systems you already run. Integration is most of our work.

What's still on paper or in a phone call?

We'll tell you straight whether an app is the right fix, with no obligation either way.
