Advanced Informatics

Enterprise software for complex operational businesses. UK and Ireland, available worldwide.

One team from discovery to go-live

Requirements move, one discipline hands over to the next, and by the time something is live nobody owns the whole picture. We work as a single team across engineering, AI, testing and cloud, from the first discovery session through to launch and past it.

Software Engineering

We build and integrate systems across web, mobile and the back office, with the same engineers throughout.

AI and Data

Data platforms that make reporting possible, and AI built into the product itself.

Cloud

Infrastructure, pipelines and monitoring on Microsoft Azure, defined in code so environments rebuild on demand.

Testing and Quality

Functional, automated, performance and security testing throughout the build: over 300 tests on our last one.

How we work

Step 1

Discovery

We map your operation, your users and the problem before anyone writes code. Short, and run by the people who will build the system.

Step 2

Define

Discovery becomes a solution design, an architecture and a delivery plan, with the scope and the price agreed up front so there is no drift to argue about later.

Step 3

Build

Working software in short cycles, backed by automated tests. You see it as it grows and change your mind while changing it is still cheap.

Step 4

Launch

A controlled release into live operation, with handover documentation and the team that built it still on hand. Our last integration went from kick-off to live in under four weeks.

What we hold ourselves to

The parts of delivery that decide whether a project is still working in three years.

Technology
We pick tools for your situation, not for our convenience. Proven, widely known technologies, so the platform can be picked up by another team if you ever need that.
People
Clear ownership on both sides, with a name against every piece of the work. You talk to the engineers writing the code, which is the whole point of a small team.
Process
Planning, backlog reviews, test results and progress are open to you at whatever level of detail you want. Some clients join every session, others read a summary; both are fine.
Support
Deployment, handover and post-release support are part of the project, not a separate negotiation once it is late. See Maintain for what that looks like ongoing.
